oddly enough, Greyhound is no longer buying Prevost buses for their new look, they've went back to purchasing more MCIs.

Buy one and see how long you have it before it goes up in flames!

Main reason is quality!! Greyhound wanted MCI to build them a type specific for them. The G Series was suppose to be the new Flagship and Greyhound had invested in that. The coach turned out to be the worst piece of shit more than the 102A3's, and catching fire all over the place. Needless to say the press was terrible!! MCI screwed up big time. You go for the current best, Prevost. To bad Eagle Bus never rose up again. Thats a true coach, The Silver Eagle".

VANHOOLS are VANFOOLS! Who ever wants a Vanhool, Please! Garbage on wheels. They don't last 3 years without major problems. TISSUE BOXES!!

Greyhound has only 4 of the D4505's. they sit here in Ammarillo mainly in charter service. They are great buses. The 102dl3 will be the last buses to leave. I would definitly like to see greyhound with some of the Van hool td925. 81 seats, double deck. very nice coach, you can find videos on here.

Are MCI G series, that much of a limon?

As a driver for greyhound, I can tell you that greyhound has a lawsuit against MCI, for the G4500 buses that were bought. Ihave had a chance todrive the new prevost and it is awesome,a lot better than the MCI buses I have driven. To bad New York is the only ones getting them for now. Dallas will get them after they have been wrecked and nothing works right any more.

thanks for the info

I thought since the MCI 102DL3 was a major hit with "U.S. Greyhound", that it was going to follow the lead of "Greyhound of Canada", and purchase the MCI D4505!
