Time-lapse of a Spider Spinning a Web

Woke up New Years day to a spider outside my door. This spider was so huge it demanded respect. So big, I thought I should name it. The only question was to go old school like Anansi, or new school?

Anyway, I ducked it's web for a few days before accidentally walking through it. That night, I decided to set my camera up hoping to catch it rebuilding its web.

After speaking with Glen from http://www.spiderzrule.com/ I found out that it's a female Garden Orb spider.
