I'm grateful for our military being competent under strange circumstances where we should have left after finding no anthrax or mass weapons. It hurts also that some who joined the National Guard were told they would remain here, but instead were sent to war. We either have an all volunteer force or else call it something else. And spreading a different form of government somewhere was a war of choice, not necessity, so when our military was told otherwise, that was the most resentful of all.

They're soldiers. They do what they're told to do. Don't hate the soldiers, hate the bastards that make the decisions, like the politicians. Bit of common sense, mate.
