@pistachioguy I an also fan of Yesudash but ur statement regarding Rafi Sahab is absolutely wrong,YesuDash inspired from Rafi Sahab which is audible in his voice...As already in our soul this song shelter through golden voice of Yeshudash...so it is difficult for us to imagine the label of voice clarity on the legends like Rafi sahab...

Yesudas makes this difficult song appear absurdly simple - it is one the most difficult Hindi film songs ever - to put it very bluntly neither Kishore (whom I adore and worship) nor Rafi could have sung it half as well.
Only Manna Dey would have had the technique and vocal quality to sing a difficult song like this keeping perfect sur and control.
