My favorite total war game. I remember it was 1310, my peasant army with a spearman unit was stationed in Malta, where reinforcements were coming from Algeria to aid them in 2 years. The Spanish seeing it lacking units decided to send a mass of troops there, 1400 strong v my 3 peasant and 1 spearman garrison. One of my peasant armies became leader, and the towers rained arrows at the enemy. In the end it was my peasant captain vs their prince, we won with only 22 people remaining. <3
