Wings Of Prey Red Skies Of Dover Mission

Final mission for the Battle Of Britain section of the single player campaign in Wings Of Prey. Realistic settings. I don't do any fancy editing or anything just straight gameplay to show friends.

Mission:
Climb to 8200 feet.
Attack a group of Heinkel Bombers.
Protect the ships from the Stuka Bombers.
Head home for tea and medals.

i dont know how you climb so fast... on realistic mode when i play, i get about 1000 feet of climb per minute. any more and my airspeed just cant be maintained to the point of stalling. I think you must have some realistic setting turned off.

Also, i dont remember what WEP means but if its full throttle? yea that goes for about 30 seconds max before engine overheats. so if thats why youre able to climb so fast, youre doing something that turns off overheating; no way full throt lasts that long

@xBonderx Yea I do have to open up the radiators to let the engines cool down sometimes. But yea I play in realistic mode, sometimes simulation mode too. I know what you mean about the climbing speed.

Do you have a limited amount of ammo or is it unlimited?

@alendostan You have the choice of either, I tend to have it on unlimited. There are 3 modes of play: Arcade, realistic and simulator. I tend to use realistic mode as it has realistic flight model but leaves the radar on. You can also choose a 4th Custom mode where you can enable\disable any of the flight options so for example have it on full simulator but keep ammo unlimited etc.

which is pretty much the reason i dont play this game.. +/- 10 minutes of booooring climbing just to get started in a mission is not my idea of a good time.. bah
