LOL Swedish hedgehogs are much bigger than this, they are also way more agressive and bites VERY hard XD

@sehkamp What kind of hedgehog is this? :) He looks so cute! I've wanted one for ages but I don't think my dog would take too well, and I don't want a purpose-bred one, maybe a rescue who can't be re-released into the wild or whatever.

Cats and hedgehogs always seem to have a strange relationship.
The cat doesn't care at all that the hedgehog is so close, it doesn't present an immediate threat and it's an interesting looking thing.
It'll keep touching the spines even when the hedgehog flinches.
The hedgehog is usually a little cautious but never becomes overly defensive.
Strange strange relationship :3

LOL, kitty just can't help himself. They are so adorable! :-)
Either the cat is small, or hedgies are bigger than I thought!

@lmbarak The cat is smaller sized cat than normal. The hedgehog was a handful when I got him, and now that he's an adult he's two handfuls (cup your hands together, and that's how big of a ball he makes).

has the hedge hog ever hurt the cat ? I just adopted a hedgehog and my cat is determined to check him out but i'm worried.

@velvetkytten neither the hedgehog nor the cat have hurt each other. My cat is always curious when the hedgehog is out, but generally goes for a higher ledge to avoid getting walked into by the hedgehog. Regardless, I don't leave the hedgehog out without supervision (this includes before I got my cat).
