what happens if by chance the burst disk doesn't give?

Then it probably didnt ignite, with a cannon this size something has to give being preferably the burst disk but it could pop off the fuel injection fitting. That would be the next weakes link I can think of, or maybe the spark plugs.

well technically it should have a longer barrel. Around 20ft is what HGDT says in order to obtain maximum velocity at just over the sound barrier. But it would not be practical for me scene as how i have to drive 15 miles to a safe firing ground.

If you read the description, it says that it is an SCBA tank. The barrel and union are both 1 1/2 metal as well.
