Here's some footage from back in August that I only just now got the opportunity to post. Basically, one day while driving through Hamburg, I caught a glimpse of some neat locomotives sitting on the rails beside the road (seen at 1:22 in the video). I went back a week later to see if they were still there, and while looking for them, found even more cool things on the tracks. Eventually I found the ones I was originally looking for as well. These are probably sitting here all the time, but I thought they were neat so I took some footage of them.
Note: This video also contains the shortened intro that I presented in an earlier video. It's less than 30 seconds long.
1 - A series of James E. Strates Shows passenger cars outside a model train display building. (0:29)
2 - Some more Strates cars, and then a pair of very old cars: a Lackawanna caboose (#906) and a Nickel Plate Road car (#412). (0:44)
3 - A closer shot of the Lackawanna caboose and the Nickel Plate Road car. (0:53)
4 - A Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotive (with coal car) 2-10-0 #4483. This engine has been here for years, and appears to be very well kept. (1:04-1:21)
5 - A line of interesting locomotives (the ones I originally came to find). I could not get very good shots of them, unless I had wanted to trespass (which I didn't). The first is some sort of plow engine, with road number obscured by aging of the paint (I haven't been able to identify it yet). The second is a Quebec Gatineau Railway C424 engine, #4212. It's ex-CP, still with its original paint. Apparently, this locomotive has, or is going to, pass into the ownership of BSOR. The third is a BSOR C415 unit, #423 (the blue engine). (1:22-end)
