NBA All-Star Game rosters were announced on Thursday, and Paul Flannery of SB Nation lends his take on the rosters. More specifically, Flannery comments on the deserving selections, which All-Stars might not make for most exciting brand of exhibition ball, and who got snubbed in the Eastern and Western Conferences.

Im a homer, but you shouldnt punish defensive minded players like Jo/Lu.. they both do offense as well. Noahs one of the best (if nont the best) passing center in the league as well. All star game is over and in his 16 minutes of play I think he showed he deserved to be there.

I do 100% agree that Stephen Curry was (WITHOUT A DOUBT) the biggest snub this year.. In my opinion he is the main reason that Golden State is actually a real contender this year in the Western Conference after spending nearly a decade in the dumps. I do think it was deserving that David Lee got in and is the 1st all-star from that team in the last 16 years, since,Latrell Sprewell in 1997... But i do think Curry was more deserving than Lee but both should be on the all-star team.

No other power-forward averages more points per game this season than Aldridge at 20.7 per game,,, i mean Carmelo and Lebron are actually eligible at PF but you can't count them as PF,, there position is SF.. And there's no other center in the NBA averaging more points per game than Aldridge,, David Lee is a close 2nd and averaging exactly 1 point less per game at 19.7.... And Aldridge's .822 free-throw percentage is really solid for a big-man as well,,, who averages 38 minute's per game.

yea,,, can't really understand why you think L-Train shouldn't be an all-star.. he's 1 of the real faces of the NBA,, a former 2nd overall pick,, right behind 1st pick Andreai Bargnani for the Raptors,, so no doubt Aldridge was the best player in his draft year,, he's still just starting into his prime in the NBA at 27 year's of age. Aldridge was on the all-star team last year. And he's 4th in positional ranking in fantasy basketball right now. So only 3 other PF have been better in the NBA.

I don't think Aldridge was bad. He's the main reason why Portland are in the playoff conversation this year and that's with the worse bench in the NBA.
