  • @TheMercyl3ss1 You've got "Timeline insertion follows playback" off. Toggle that back on. I found this: "You can press the the a...z button just above Bars:Beats and below Spot and grid. This enables one-key keyboard shortcuts and makes the N key toggle this option on and off. "

  • @msg6794 Hey, how do u make it so that the timeline stops right where you press stop? When I press stop, the timeline just goes right back to where I set the marker. It makes it really difficult to pinpoint the click & fix it in this ultra zoomed-in stage.

  • @thevelmas o ok ty

  • @hto1971 If you mean "too short", then no. Pro Tools keeps the extra audio that's "underneath" the other takes, and the crossfade only affects the audio that overlaps. Doing this doesn't affect the length of the clip, which is sort of the point.

  • would this make that track become to sort

  • @ozverenok You're welcome; glad to help!

  • When you punch in, make sure you start a bit before where you actually need the punch to start and end a little after where you need the punch to end. That way you can move your edit points a little either way to find a more ideal crossfade point.

  • thank you so much !!!!

  • thanx

  • can sonar do crossfade like this?
