Thanatos' Demon's souls Speed Run part 1 (total time: 1:08 hours)

Run was performed by me, done at around 1:08:30 hours.

getting the trophy is all about grinding, this is about skills/memorization.

@apocalipsix i agree its more memorization but not necessarily skill. In a speed run you basically avoid most enemies and defeat bosses easily by upgrading mostly magic. In a Platinum trophy quest you have to go through the toughest enemies in the game... that is, the Black Phantoms in each world. Black Phantom Selen Vinland for example will cast Anti Magic Field thus rendering the Homing Soul Arrow spell useless. She would then rush you and one shot you because you cant run or roll in the swamp

all i have to say is if speed runs didn't take skills then everybody would always have the greatest time that can possibly be achieved everytime.

@alfonsogemini speedrun = need perfect timing to dodge/sprint/etc, my skills are inferior to Thanatos but I still got platinum, platinum is not a big deal if you have patience...

@alfonsogemini Platinum trophy means shit... and unlike most people I got mines completely legit. Speed run skips a lot of shit but it takes serious skills to do it.

I disagree. memorization IS a big part of skill. there is no learning process without memorization!

no matter if it is the right path, attack patterns or which button has which function and so on... :)

@apocalipsix Dont get me wrong bro, your speed run was impressive. But I think achieving the Platinum is a bigger accomplishment.
