Sooner or later Google will be forced to include waze in their maps. No other chance to compete. In fact I wonder why Google became so un-open and limited for social activity. Their G+ is very limited and doesn't work. They offer nothing.

I feel like this app is underrated by many who automatically assume Google Maps is the best. My sister is like that. She doesn't see that Google Maps is actually lamer than Waze. Google Maps can't alert you to traffic accidents, hazards, or red light cameras. Nor does it navigate around traffic as well as Waze does. I use it every morning to check for bad traffic and it has saved me a bunch of times. It even helped me get to my college exams on time one morning, amidst horrible traffic :)
