"Make Me a Millionaire," the California Lotterys TV game show, awarded 12 lucky contestants a total of $125,500 in cash and prizes on this weeks show.
This weeks episode started off on a high note when two of the three Lucky Penny contestants took home the cash equivalent of a new car. Both Socorro Shehab of Glendale and Raul Villa of Arcadia said they planned to use their money to pay bills. Shehab indicated she might use some of the money to help her son, who is about to turn 16, buy a car.
The other high point of the show occurred when Blanca Mendez of San Diego played a spirited game of Safe Cracker while her son and daughter cheered her on. I was nervous, she said while describing how she kept looking to her son and daughter for advice. Im planning to use this money to take a trip and just enjoy it.
With the Make Me a Millionaire progressive jackpot increasing $200,000 each week, next weeks Millionaire game contestant will have a chance to win $1.8 million.
