This is beautiful! One of my favorite Christmas carols, but so underrated! So happy to have found this one! Wish I could have seen this performed in person. I bet it sounded amazing in that beautiful sanctuary!

I remember having to sing this while running down the church aisle in Ft. Lauderdale. Wheeee. At least it fit.

You just made my day! =D I come from a family of music lovers and, [must I point out] devout Christians.. soo.
This rendition is fantastic and I will definitely bombard mia famiglia with this idea next time for a choir thing, religious or not, or even just something to sing as a family - thankyou so much!..
Congratulations to the singers; so sweetly sung..:D
I hope your festive season was a merry one

So far this is the closest I've found to what I remember singing in college at Mount Holyoke. The main difference is that the whole congregation joined in singing the English words which were printed in the program.

Congratulations ! It's impressive !! Phalaïna

I make one version for guitar ! Seriously .

But this isn't the famous Gustav Holst arrangement with the low G note before singing starts...

Ever since I saw this production I wanted to do it at my school for Christmas. My dream came true when I conducted it. It was really scary, but a really cool experience!
Thanks for the upload! :D

This is my favorite Latin piece! And has been ever since I first heard it, sung by the wonderful King's College Choir of Cambridge, on public radio in the Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols, in 1991. Multa bonae! My other favorite is Puer Natus in Bethlehem by Samuel Scheidt, that has some Latin lines in it too.

A few people have emailed me...the arranger of this version is John Rutter. It can be found in the 'Carols for Choirs' series.
