The best there'll ever be, Al Martino, singing one of his many greats, "Mary In The Morning".
I went to see him in Lichfield in September and at the age of 80, he sounds just as good as any one of his recordings. The years dropped off him as the show went on - I think the standing ovation could have gone on all night.
Romantic song - most wonderful girl next to me - Tony Christie in the row behind - and a warm late summer night outside - perfect.
This is taken from one of his shows in the seventies.

@matizzle32 Keep sipping the Kool Aid, hey I am an Elvis fan but just because he had a version of someone's hit didn't automatically make it better. Righteous Bros for instance owned "Unchained Melody".

@MrDavearama
Elvis had no weaknesses as an entertainer. Only strengths.

Fantastic song and one which Al Martino made his own! I'm learning this one myself.

Poor piano player needs a conductor so he doesn't have to play and conduct at the same time

@magcarril -You may think Elvis was, but he had his strengths and weaknesses. Al Martino had the hit.
