Anyone notice how sloppy this number sounds on "Waltz" compared to this? I can't even listen to that soundtrack after discovering Rock of Ages.

w/ all respect to Robbie detractors' I recall him, in his prime, as being quite economical
with notes. and all of them going to the point of the song. TheBand was a great,organic
mix; with vocals as deep as the earth is mined

Fools, Muddy Waters and BB Kind didn't and don't play a thousand notes a minute, they are "simple", and geniuses. Anyone who rates Alex Lifeson above Robbie doesn't know music

@tdawg1294 this is from the Rock of Ages concert New Years eve 1971/72. Would have been an awesome show. First live performance for the horn section featuring Howard Johnson.
