    The Band was my first adult concert. I was at "Concerts on the Common" in1985 when they opened up for Crosby Stills and Nash.

    Also I work with two 24 year old guys and they listen the stuff that most people there age listen to. However, their favorite music is the Band. They both have watched the Last Waltz a hundreds times, like myself they don't get tired of it. Nice to know that some of the younger generation appreciates music with soul

    Drumroll @ 2:18 is just awesome, Levon Helm was incredible. It's sad that a whole generation of kids don't appreciate great music. No computers or synthesizers, just pure talent!

    I wish I had known more about him before he passed. I'd heard of the band, but I had no idea he sang and played drums and did both fantastically. His groove on the drums is incredible and he sings on top of it? Ridiculous talent. RIP for sure.
