@rdhaggett I'm so sorry to hear about your town. I hope you and your family were OK. Regarding tornadoes, there is absolutely no causal relationship between warming and tornado frequency/severity. Moveover, significant warming would actually decrease tornado strength/frequency as latitudinal temperature differentials are what drives them. With significant warming, the differential would lessen, as would tornado strength/severity. Unfortunately, the Earth is now cooling again, so stay safe!!!

@FriendsOfNone if you can't see global temps have stopped warming since 1998, I really can't help you. The global temperature mean is +0.2 now. The AGW bedwetters say Earth has warmed +0.6 C.. Yes, there is seasonality, but the trend line since 1998 is down, despite record levels of CO2 emissions. The theory is busted. We're more than 2 standard deviations from the AGW projected mean, which means mathematically, AGW theory must be abandoned.

@samuraiconservative To say Gleick 'confessed to fabricating the documents' is a blatant lie. Obviously you haven't paid any attention to this. One document was confirmed as fake by Gleick and Heartland, while the other seven documents that reflect MUCH of what is said in the fake doc have yet to be discredited. Gleick himself said that he did not tamper with any of the other e-mails and that Heartland could confirm this. And 2 weeks later they still haven't made a statement
