The is DerbyBrit's bike from www.apriliaforum.com. The engine is a basic forced induction prep job, cylinder spacers to raise cylinders a total of about 1mm for less compression to be forced in the combustion chambers and hopefully a lower chance of detonation. Camshafts are timed at 114/114 for lobe centers and are the stock cams from the base bike, a 2007 Aprilia RSVR. The forced induction project started out as a basic Spoon Valley Racing supercharger kit from Sweden. Many changes have been made and much learned in the process. The fuel pump is now a Mitsubishi EVO8 unit, but this was really no better than the stock Aprilia pump, both are pressure limited at 72 psig. Current fuel injectors are 622cc up from the stock 403cc units, since there was room for an air to air intercooler under the bike's skin it ended up with a Devil's own Methanol/Water injection kit to drop charge temps. One nozzle sprays directly into the compressor and 2 more shower style down each throttle body. Total charge temp drop from the outlet of the kompressor to the intake valves is more than 100F. We are still well short of enough fuel duration and pressure at the top end to make good power, currently the bike is peaked at less than 10k rpm and "only" 152 bhp on the Factory pro EC997 dyno, about 185 on the more common Dynojet dynos. The bike in the end needs to make a very relaible 165 bhp on my dyno to propel me or the owner past 200 honest to God miles per hour at the Texas Mile (www.texasmile.com) newt Spring. This is only the second tuning session on the dyno and we are learning quickly where the weak links are. Eventually it will be a 1060cc Rotrex supercharged Methanol and water injected monster, but, the learning curve is steep...and a lot of fun! See YouTube user "Rotrex"for more videos and other projects he is working on an Ocean away!
180 bhp tonight, real deal Factory Pro EC977 Low as shit numbers compared to a dynojet, 170 with a hot airbox and the Methanol injection turned off,

This bike is going to be sick! Just think the drive system for the supercharger is sucking up over 20 bhp of the crank's bhp....hmmm turbo loss would be a lot less right?
