Jacob's trouble is about the final climaxing conflict of the ages b/t Esau/Edom (Lebanon, etc.) and Judah (Jews) and the house of Israel (or 10 "lost" tribes-not really lost) America.
This focuses on the conflict in the middle east and how it relates to the conflict between Jacob and Esau. What happens to the fathers will happen to their descendent's. In other, more familiar words, history repeats itself.
But he (Jacob) shall be saved out of it (great tribulation). (Jer. 30:7, Dan. 12:1, Matt. 24:21)
