This kid has some genuine musical talent. His ability to follow the beat, the piano part and the voices is really pretty sophisticated for a 3 year old.

oh my GOODNESS!!! adorable child! speaking as a drummer, put some sticks on this kid's hands RIGHT NOW and buy him a drum kit! if you haven't already or maybe you're a drummer and have one in the house already.
this video made my week.

Thanx.
Done ... and done.
Santa brought him a kit for Xmas and I am a drummer as well.
Funny thing is I have not directly taught him anything. His means of learning were entirely observational and by his own doing & interest. And WTF, he's only 3!!!????

i guess its in his blood! hehe. i'm gonna give him a decade and if he sticks to the sticks (pun, hehehe) he'd be near-viruoso when he's 13. it blew my mind that he can distinguish between the drums (banging on his lap) and the piano parts (tapping light on his right lap). i almost want to have a kid after watching this video. it really looks like he's on the dot with the triplets during the beginning of the song when the drums first comes in, about 2-4 bars.

Yeah, it's crazy. A sax player friend pointed out during a jam w/him he was playing 3 against 2 rhythms. I couldn't believe it! He also naturally distinguishes dynamics and tone length. If one watches closely (the other vids it's more apparent) you can see him hold down his hand for the length of certain chords/tones. He's freakishly intuitive!
