What a wonderful tribute you give to this lady!
Many thanks for the tuning info, she really is unique in her style and pattern of playing her various instruments, her composition, her arrangements... and, of course, her wonderful vocal range.
You, my friend, are a gem for sharing some of it all with us. Many, many thanks.

Joni is on the Rolling Stone list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. Your lesson helps us appreciate why. I saw Joni (along with Tom Scott and the LA Express) in 1974 at the Universal Amphitheatre (now the Gibson) in Los Angeles. It was a starry night at the (then) open air theatre. I never forgot Joni saying "nobody ever asks an artist to paint the same painting again, but a musician is constantly asked to repeat one piece of music over and over. Tom Scott was AMAZING-Joni too!

Great video.
Always wanted to learn how to play this song. Thanks alot for the tutorial. I have been fooling around with alot of open tunings lately ala CSNY catalogue.
p.s. I requested Nash's Lady Of The Island a few weeks back. Any chance you could do that one soon? I can't find a authentic tab of it on the web and would love to learn it. It's such a gorgeous melody. Thanks for the all the great vids.
