Aşk Ve Ceza Murat Yıldırım Nurgül Yeşilçay
Murat: The TV series are about a boy who was raised in the mountains with his family. Then he began to study in Istanbul and America and after that he worked in Italy. He fell in love with a city girl but very soon he understood that this love is impossible. After the death of his father and brother, all the family `s responsibility goes to Savas and he has to marry his brother` s wife. This marriage is against his will. In this moment I became a man between two women - my wife and my beloved.
Nurgul: In Love and Punishment my character is a very educated woman and she is not in a normal standards. She is different. She is a little crazy, she likes little more the nightlife. Actually, she is not typical woman who we see in Turkish tv-series, because usually there women never drink alcohol, never smoke and they will do everything for their children. They would not leave them alone.
Reporter: Do you find a resemblance between you and your character in the movie?
Nurgul: Yes, we have in common. There is a lot of passion and energy in her. She gets through all the things with a lot of excitement as well as me. I mean that when she takes a job, she never leave it uncompleted. She is doing her job with all the energy she has. When she falls in love, she loves with all her energy. She does everything with willing or if she doesn't want it with aversion.
Murat: In real life and also in the movie I like to take responsibility for the people I love. In this meaning me and my character have in common. But in reality I am not experienced even 10% than my character is.
Reporter: If you find yourself in a situation like in the movie would you follow your heart?
Nurgul: Yes. I live only with my feelings. I'm definitely a person who depends on his heart. I fell in love. I get married. I wanted to have a child and I did. We didn't work out with my husband and we are separated. I am working a job that my heart wants.
