  • Canadian law prohibits the disturbance of all marine mammals. Hunting whales using radar/sonar, getting this close to them, running boat engines (the noise from which disturbs their ability to communicate with one another) - this is disturbance. Whale watching should be banned.

  • As far as the whales being angry, we've been watching them for over twenty five years and have yet to see an angry whale. They are gentle giants!

  • @Ellenstart15 We are required to have lifejackets on board but people do not have to wear them as we are also required to have railings to prevent anyone from falling overboard so we are abiding by Canadian Law.

    Good point Ellenstarr! Let's hope the organizers see your comment and start obeying our Canadian law. Seems to me an angry whale could easily cause a disaster, Wouldn't see a video of that !!
