I did those stripes in my laundry room (in other colors). LOOOOVE IT! Took long but, I think it was worth it.

@poppyshoes - those must have taken two of us 3 days in total. We used the wrong tape at first and had to 'touch up' all the edges with a fine brush. It was really that and the taping that took so long. People who saw that room actually thought it was wallpaper so we must have done a good job. They are very cool arent' they!

Thank you for your comment. I know those stripes are a love them or hate them kinda thing, aren't they? This was a designer showcase project I did a couple of years ago - an opportunity to do something out of the ordinary. Took hours and hours to paint and we'll never do it again! I too love the baskets - they are expensive but worth every penny. Unfortunately, the place I used to buy them from has gone out of business - so if you ever see them anywhere, let me know.
