Good stuff Jackie! If you wanna stick with Mailbreakey you do that, but do consider a secondary to back her up. Drop off all your ore and unused stuff with me and level up some, you got souls to spend dude!

@VideoGameBangers True, but he's pretty much just gotten lucky up to this point. The big exploding armadillo bug things are just one of many types of monster that laughs at piercing damage. Some only get hurt from magic damage (i.e. his blessed mace) or crushing damage (i.e. his blessed mace). He'll hit a brick wall pretty hard if he doesn't start optimizing and upgrading his weapon options, and then it'll be a whole video or two of him trying to kill a monster he's not ready for at all.

The flamelurker is indeed weak to magic, he might even not be able to hit you if you position yourself right ...

This is why youtube gets on my fucking nerves. You're not allowed to have a negative opinion, you should just stop watching, but everyone is allowed to have an opinion of your opinion. I've watched all these videos from the start, have thumbs up to all, subscribed to the channel and wrote walls of text in the comments with information i thought would help and improve these videos. I leave one slightly harsher comment and BAM two defence force drones pop up to state the obvious.

@DeathtoRaiden1 while i'll give u he's learnin a bit.. slow (or mebe it's just i'm fast on learning games *shrug*) but this is still enjoyable to watch and as arthur said if u don't like it stop watching

Well Eire make sure you underscore for him the importance of having free space available (meaning clear item weight) for picking up new items. So 1 thing that will help him greatly is to ALWAYS drop stones off with SPT. He never needs to have them on his person. The way he is going about it now, carrying everything on his person, he is just repeatedly wasting stuff by leaving it in level.

It's refreshing to see someone play this game without watching dozens of youtube videos and reading guides before playing.
I don't think it is stale, but you should be more careful of your item burden, for example only using the ring to increase your carry weight in emergencies when you go over weight. The stones you pick up to upgrade weapons can always go into storage, and you really don't need to carry more than 1 or 2 weapons (how often have you switched to the spear, for example). And you should use triangle to 2-hand weapons, and use different attacks as well.
I'm still enjoying it greatly, though!

@matneo27 It's all within personal opinion I guess. If the Mailbreaker is really that weak, it just makes some of the things more challenging. Isn't that something that makes LP's so much better? Watching someone challenge themselves?
Though I will say this, there will never be a LP that makes everyone happy. Different people like different things.
I am super glad you are enjoying it though. Jackie is a great friend, and is super good at games. Normally.

@VideoGameBangers Sure, challenge is nice, but the game itself is plenty challenging without limiting yourself to one of the least effective weapons there is. The fun, for me, is in watching him succeed, not watching him fail.

@Maynardftw True, I think the thing with the Mailbreaker is along the lines of, It hadn't really failed him and it seemed to be getting the job done. At the expense of using a better weapon and maybe some health.
I'm not saying I don't see the problem in using a weak weapon. Nor am I saying he shouldn't have tried others out. I can just see why he stuck to a weapon that seemed to be doing well enough for him.
