THIS WOMAN IS HERO......!!!
-
@nikolov7 I agree with you Betty Mahmoody went thru a horrible ordeal trapped in Iran with an abusive husband and survived it, in a country that if god forbid she would have being caught, she would have been executed, because in Iran the children belong to the father and the wife is only property with no rights whatsoever. I applaud Betty Mahmoody/

And you speak of others like race or religions well I believe if you study your history, Texas which is a part of America was at the very start belong to the Mexicans or Latinos. Get ur words right. The Spanish are something different. So. Id your gonna speak or open your mouth to hurt, cut, yell whatever, say it inteligently not ignorantely. Haha!

I believe what's going on here is that first of all. A woman won! Sh went against all odds and broke the rules of a 3rd world country. A place where women is beneath an iron fist. You talk about someone here is considered a slave. Well, your one in your own country and you enslave your women. 2nd reason why you are so angry is the an american you call infindel was able to get away and somehow somewhere your own ppl were to blame in aiding to her and her daughters freedom. I can understand....

@09123161816 But Betty did write that book so grow up ok?
-
@09123161816 A lier if they reported thier story of abuse to the police or who ever or did something to stop the abuse? And as for you also saying the book was anti humanity. No it was not it wasnt' even anti Iran in some respects. It was anti Dr. Mahmoody and a couple of his family members ! thats all ! She also didnt' brain wash thier daughter the daughter can think for herself. Betty may have had a ghost writer to help her put her thoughts experiences and feels into proper words.

@09123161816 Im' guessing your Muslim am I correct ? Or if not your just a narrow minded thick prat ! You listen and you listen good not one part of Bettys story is fiction she has been throughly honest in everything she has ever said. And as for you saying that dr Mahmoody cant possible be guilty because he might have acted polite and calm in front of you. Well child molesters act like really nice people in public so would you automatically brand any possible child victom of that molester.

@09123161816 WHATEVER, she is exposing that women have no rights, and thats a BIG deal!

@rezanoei Why did it take him 15 years to say something??? I am convinced that he is the liar more than she is.
-
@09123161816 His daughter grew into an adult that chose not to go see him. I don't believe she was entirely brainwashed. If she wanted to she would have gone to see him in a neutral country, but didn't do that. Dr. Mahmoody waited 15 years to say something about this story. If he was so concerned for his daughter, then why didn't he come back to the US to do something? I hate it when Iranians get so upset and are in so much denial when one of their own messes up badly.

@09123161816 I saw the interview with Dr mahwo and it is very sad that his life ended up so empty and lonely. But that doesnt take away the violence that occured directly because of him on Bettys life. He was responsible for his fate.
Can anyone translate what the reporter says at the beginning?

@andema83 She doesn't say anything special, she only said that Betty live very carefully, and that Bettys brother lives with Betty and her daughter. Betty and her daughter wears a alarm buttom on them, They have change their name and Betty wrote her book when she came back from Iran. Thats it.
