Madison resident, Daria Novak, has been stumping in eastern Connecticut's grass roots for over a year on her way to earn the honor of representing the Republican Party in the election for Representative in District 2. Novak got the GOP endorsement at the May 21, 2010 Republican Convention.

She is fending off challenges from two Republican opponents approaching the August 10 Primary Election. On June 16, 2010, Novak and one of her challengers, Chaplin attorney, Doug Dubitsky, were present to engage in a debate at the Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, CT.

The tea party inspired, Free Norwich organization, hosted the debate. Highly respected radio talk show host, Lee Elci, moderated the ninety-minute long forum.

Daria Novak has attracted a very large group of loyal supporters from all over the state of Connecticut. Her popularity in District 2 is gaining momentum as more voters begin to clearly focus on the November 2 election date.
