I remember seeing a documentary with this. The Corrs were supposed to sing the Star Spangled Banner before a football game. And the mics they were given didn't work. Not one of them. One of the promoters kept saying "Go on! Just use one mic! Go! You have to go now!" She kept saying it wasn't working and wanted to tell the promoter YOU go on. Or something along those lines.

None of you got it completely right. Andrea says "Should've handed him the mike - here you go fruitcake, YOU go on!" meaning "you eejit the mike's not working so I'm not going to start singing!"
