At 23 she had a sound quality and musical ability that was beyond anything that existed in music at that time. This performance is so extraordinary and is probably the best interpretation of this song she ever sang because of what she does with it live. AMAZING. This is why she will be deemed the greatest singer of the 20th and 21st Century.

I was 9 when this aired on TV. I was a big Barbra fan from the first time I saw her. In the US Air Force, I met a girl who looked just like Barbra! This is just when "A Star is Born" came out, so I was head-over-heals for that girl. Too bad she was more of a Kiss fan than classical music. Still, great memories, from a great singer and actress. She's like "butter."

@GarlandJudyFan Yea I feel i was born in the wrong era and I'm 28. Also a huge Judy Garland fan,also a Liza minnelli fan and met her. Music now doesn't have the same quality to it anymore
