  • yes, there is a part 3 when I show how to do the actual soldering. I've been really busy and haven't had a chance to get it edited/uploaded yet. I'll get it up this week for ya

Also to answer your question, my AC worked for between 2-3 months and then it stopped working. I assume this is because the Radioshack part used in this method is not designed for the same amperage as the original part... No biggie, I'll probably just do the same thing again this summer =P

  • I have a 1991 ford taurus ,the a/c clutch engages ok .but the cooling fan does not come on.The fan does work when the car reaches its temperature. I bough a used ccrm on ebay ,with exactly the same results. The car is running fine. Its when you put the a/c on and the cooling fan should come on.It could be a faulty relay in the ccrm. would it be the WAC relay or one of the others .Any idea . Only one fan on the car .Thanks

  • it would be nice if you could spend another 10 minutes on the air filter

  • Thanks...this helps a ton

  • awesome this will save me a ton on money if i can just do it myself!

  • what camera are you using to record this?

  • Also, is there a Part 3 =]

  • now will the troubleshoot to know is we need to replace this CCRM be periodic cold AC or no AC whatsoever?
