THE O GAUGE LAYOUT OF THE BROMFORD AND HIGH PEAK RAILWAY WHICH WAS THEN OWNED BY COLONEL RONNIE HOARE WHO DIED AROUND 1995. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHAT BECAME OF THE RAILWAY IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME IF ITS STILL IN EXSISTANCE.

  • No the railway was called "bromford" maybe the layout was in essex, it was only ever seen by a select few and its location was very secret i am led to believe.

  • could i ask has the layout been broken up or is it still in one piece ?

  • I think you mean Cromford & High Peak Railway. Bromford is in Essex. If you search for Cromford & High Peak you will find out masses of information on it.

    ... unless this display was intentionally called 'Bromford' for some reason

  • Oh my lord! what a great train set. I once had a train set, built it within a year then got bored. SO I brought an old Class 08 Shunter from EWS and I have now re-building it on my local heritage line. That's more fun!!!
