...and then her mom came over, put her drooling bib back on, gave her a pat on the head, and thanked the "make a wish" foundation for letting her handicapped daughter be a youtube star like she always wanted. That's so nice.
The moral of the story: don't take brass maintenance tips from a retard.

I don't understand how this woman got a job... she shouldn't have gone to a Tech school for a band instrument repair ASSOCIATE'S degree, which is even lower than a bachelor's! Does she have a life? You only need to oil the valves AT MOST once a week!
-
What are you talking about?
Oiling your valves everytime you play?
Wasting your precious money!

you should oil your trumpet with valve oil, not wd40... then i personally only oil my valves when one starts to slow down.
im seriously gonna make a youtube channel that is solely based on corrrecting people from expert village.. their paintball advice is crap, this is also crap, im afraid of what else is crap.

@simsim646 actually, you do need to oil it every day because residue will build up and a moldish looking substance will build up, kind of like plaque on your teeth.

ok...well this is a crappy tutorial...ill prolly make some on the whole trumpet process of cleaning...i use getzen valve oil for my oil.....and for one thing NEVER use WD-40 on a trumpet
-
every time u play? sorry lady that will ruin your valve after a long period of time. Thats wasting perfectly good oil. i play every day for my 8th grade band, and i probably oil my trumpet maybe 10 times out of the whole school year. You really don't need that much.

why cant they just make one or two videos for this whole process?
They make finding the right order such a pain in the ass.
