so Ive told quite a few ppl with msgs how to do this, and its still come out decent...but Ive had some more ppl ask, so its probly easier to put up this video.

Dont make me regret doing this either...Ive had various happenings seemingly saying this is a bad idea.

Anyways, if theres more questions or anything just ask me, Ill see what I can do. Like it says in the video....if its not working, its not because Im wrong or my method sucks or anything...its becasue YOU arent doing it right. My little sister can do it, Ive gotten my friends, hell even little friggin kids can do it.

So, if you do get this, then congrats. Now practice ALOT, so you can do it on command and know the feeling ur looking for....and record yourself alot b4 you decide u think you sound good.

Lastly...PRACTICE PRATICE PRACTICE!!!!!

  • Well, what i've heard and learned, you shall not get pain in your throat. But if you do like this, you do get some pain. Lowering your adams apple and shout at the same time isn't the "right" way. But it's a hint of how it maybe feels like. As you said in a comment below there are 4 vocal registers.

So my question is. What type of growl do you think will fit in dead by april, silverstein, bfmv? = ) Cheers m8!

  • @IsacAdolfssonMusic all vocals clean or metal are strenuous on the throat and include some discomfort...thats why one warms up, warms down adn takes care of throat. One is naive or doing soft effortless not really vocals to think otherwise.

Anyways as for the bands u mentioned they typically almost always do fry and falsetto register vocals and just plain shouting

  • Um..isn't there a sort of closing of the throat too? I wanna do a vocal cover of Her Ghost in the Fog in few months..

  • @XxxxTokyxxxX theres a handful of different techniques based on the 4 vocal registers...and not to sound mean im jsut being abosultely honest and logical....u wont be doing her ghost in the fog in a couple months...at least not anywhere near decent...but either way youll want either a fry and falsetto technique...1st better....dont bother with the whistle haha

  • @Umbvir sooo idk wtf a fry technique is. and i definitly am not going to do hgitf for a much longer time..dani filth is too amazing..i think that i bit of a better starter would be abhorrence. what do you mean by whstle.

  • @XxxxTokyxxxX yes startign with growls and lower stuff is easiest, but ill tell u right now, abhorrence vocals are a bad idea. though they are technically fry vocals, i put them under a sub vocals of grunts and pig squeals...and those vocals are talentless and take no skill at all so you ahieveing them would be meaningless. Whislte...as in danis filth whistle. u gotta know what that is lol. its the highest vocal register. the last line of her ghost in the fog and nemesis are both whistles
