You are correct that most Argentines do not eat the doves. Having been to Argentina multiple times (this is part of my business), mostly only the Argentina individuals that are associated with this business (birdboys etc.), have learned that the doves are good to eat. As to exporting the dove meat, only a tiny fraction of birds shot are sent outside the country.

I will save you the long story.....No is the answer. Trying to import a meat product is near impossible.

Maybe 5% of Argentina people eat them due to the "Pest" label on the doves. Kind of like us in the USA not eating the pest Starlings & Grackles.

These doves are not tainted in any way, and as safe to eat, as our doves here.

I am the booking manager for this outfitter, and love eating them, especially the way the chefs prepare them at our lodge.

They are helping with population control. These are a pest in the country. All of the birds they shoot go to a non profit organization in Argentina and feeds poor childeren.
