As a JKD student in the Seattle area, I always find Taky Kimura's life story fascinating and his attitude an example to martial arts practitioners.

I had the honor to meet and train with Taky back in 2007 at his residence in Woodinville, WA. One of my friends introduced me. This guy doesn't train just anybody off the streets you have to do an interview with him first. Anyway, I was doing chi sau with him and he lit me up like a christmas tree. The energy from this guy is amazing! I was literally sore for 2 weeks. Not even Icy/Hot helped!
