  • I havent found any babies of these, just adults

  • @edgarortega thnxs

  • Cute. I found 15 of these in the past 2 months. 13 babies, 1 juvie and a female (I think).

  • I remember first coming across this species several years ago.. I thought it was just another harmless salamander... ...Until it latched onto my thumb and bit a large chunk out. These things have VICIOUS teeth!

  • i found a newly hatched one of these in my bathroom... on the floor. it was just a minaturized version of the adult (no larval stage). I really have no idea how it got there but it was after the first heavy rain of the year and that is when this species hatches. they like moist wooded or mossy areas apparently so I set it out under a rotting log outside.

  • omg so kawii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nicely done, wish we had more salamanders here in Colorado.
