yeah, I got a lot of stares, even one time when I was taking apicture of a 3T22, the town cop asked what I was doing.

I said taking a picture of their towns siren, hes says "let me see!" I show him the picture & he told me to delete it at once. I did.

Then he told me to get out of town.

He went one way I slowly went the other & as soon as he was out of sight I did a u Turn & retook the picture. LOL

My hometown of Irving, TX has at least 15 of those sirens and they used to sound those Westminster Chimes at 12Noon everyday...until a few of those sirens in the Valley Ranch district were replaced with the 2001s.

Chimes, how strange! Having those would be a nice alternative to the boring "1st Wednesday of the month" testing of the tornado & emergency air raid sirens up here in Minnesota.
