Obviously a flexibility exercise, but also be careful if hyper flexible, core is still definitely required here to be able to control the speed of getting into the split, the ability to zip up and get back to standing, and for the hyper-mobile, preventing the split from just going all the way out.

Did left split, to straddle split to right split.
