The song is "Loch Lomond" performed by "Run Rig". It is an ancient song written by a Jacobite Soldier who was condemned to death in an English Prison after the Jacobite Uprising and defeat at the Battle of Culloden in 1746. His words where of going home in spirit after his execution by way of the "low road" while his friend who was set free would take the "High Road" the normal way home North to the Highlands by way of Loch Lomond, where he met his first love will never to meet her again.
