I've hd Cavaliers for the last thirty two years. I'll tell you unless you have unconditional love in you, don't get one. They are one person dogs, gentle loving and some one, yes, someone to live for. My latest one is named Keats, and he is smarter then any person I know, including me! I love him and he rules me and I would not have it any other way.
