  • My dad could actually fix stuff back in the day using oscillioscope & other tools. Remember the "tube testers" in all hardware stores in 60's??? Are tubes still made or do you have to cannibalize? Do they maintain their vacuum over all these years??? Maybe they still use them in Castro's Cuba, along with 3 cylinder russian oil burning 2 cycle cars?
