As negotiating tactics go, it's fairly hardline. But as the threat of unemployment affects more and more people, workers in France and elsewhere are taking matters into their own hands: holding their bosses hostage until their demands are met.

AND it is really, really scary those two contries who "won" the WW2 have developed an ignorarant sight of the people in their own country, who is suffering....

And the people in UK an USA are less developed in what human rights/democracy means - than any other western democray;)

This is an amazing incident. I am particularly interested that the authorities are not involving themselves in the process - and allowing this to take place.

At the present, people are loosing their security due to the economic climate. People are more than their positions at a company, but at what point is it acceptible to cross this particular line?

It is interesting. The process has proven to give the protesters what they want, encouraging further use of this method.

In the north of Europe the workers really have rights- We do think that the people who is doing the work should be paid for it. Not like anglo/americans who thinks you should be born to a good life.

hahahahaaaaaa. it is happening all over the world. last month in the U.S., workers refused to leave the factory.
