Luv the color at the end!

@lizziebear610 Vaseline IS regular petroleum jelly, so basically she's saying to not use petrolatum at all.

@becky183xoxo It will be easier to put into the container, since the head of a spoon is curved, some of the stuff will get stuck in there.

why use the back of the spoon to measure about 1 tablespoon rather than just using the spoon itself?

I perfer a slightly stiffer mix, I have made my own lip gloss for years, using beeswax and sweet almond oil. I add cocoa butter and other feel good additives you can get in the soap/bath making section of craft stores. I also use old lipsticks to add in color, and candy making oil for flavor. If you don't have bees wax you can use pariffin wax instead. (start with equal amounts and add more oil for softer gloss)

@kelseyheartscomesify Yes but the other top comment says you can get cancer not if you use a moisturer
Products like Vaseline, Aquaphor, and baby oil contain mineral oil and petrolatum which are petroleum by products and are KNOWN carcinogens (proven to cause cancer). I am a massage therapist and we never ever ever use these products because they are so dangerous. I would recommend using a combination of castor oil, coconut oil and a little bit of melted beeswax. It has virtually the same consistency and is ultra nourishing for those plump lips!
