The duty cycle on it is 60sec on 1 min off.

do you have to press the button all the time for the laser to stay on?or you just have to press the button once and it will be shining by its self?

You have to hold it to stay on. The reason it is staying on in this video is cause I have a clamp attached to the tripod. The laser is turned sideways so the clamp will hold the power button down.
