Venture (Colecovision) gameplay

A very classic Coleco title, Venture is one of my favourite games for the Colecovision. Even though the maps repeat after a few stages, (which was common for games at the time) the increasing challenge made it well worth it. There are very few people that I know who don't remember this game, Venture is a true classic and if you own a Colecovision you should try to pick up this game.

This game was fun when I was a kid as well and I used to call the Hallmonsters "Green Guys: lol!!

@emlsox4life Lol! Out of all the monsters, I hated the "Green Guys" most of all.... especially in the later levels of the game XD Its also good to know that I wasn't the only one who called them "Green Guys" lol!

Wow! Watching this made me feel like I had awoken from a 30-year coma! Especially hearing all the different tunes for the different rooms. God only knows how many hours I spent with my friends playing this game during summer vacation. ...I particularly remember how pissed off I would get if there was a dead creature blocking a doorway and a hall monster was flying across the screen after me.

I use to love this game. You make it look so easy, lol. I wish they would port this version to a current system along with Grogs Revenge.

I loved this game. I hope an iPad version comes out soon so I can play colecovision games
