VIDEO TAKEN AUGUST 28TH, 2007.

On this day, we follow the NYS&W #142 along the Pennsy's former branchline to Trenton, NJ. This video is dedicated to the late Walter G. Rich, who fell victim to cancer in July of 2007. He is one of the reason the #142 is here in America and is still running to this day. He will be missed dearly.

  • 上游形もアメリカに渡っていたとは知りませんでした。 OMG,I didn't know SY type was brought to US , not only QJ. Great work 5*

  • @ISO8 There are two SYs here that I can think of.

  • @CSX6000 and theres another chineese 2-8-2 somewhere not an sy but a 2-8-2

    (i think)

  • @southern4501isawesom The Valley Railroad has an SY they are rebuilding to a New Haven 2-8-2. The Boone Valley Scenic in Iowa has the JS 2-8-2, the in-between SY and QJ model.

  • why is this a chinese loco lettered for an amerian railraod

    ?

  • @CGiordano464 Because it is being run in America... not China.

  • You BLAST the WHISTLE LONG AND LOUD for non-signaled grade crossings! Full grade crossing whistle sequence. What was this meek nonsenese?

    Slowing down accomplishes nothing.

    Love the grass-covered track.

Glad you replaced the POS Chinese whistle.

    Nice video! Well done!

Rich died a happy man bringing a locomotive here.

  • I was gonna ask, was there any tracks in the grass or just riding on the dirt? LOL

  • Walter G Rich was truly a great man. Almost like another Ross Rowland. RIP.

  • My 2 yr old is in love with trains she loves this veideo and related ones, there is also a railroad crossing by my home, its across the street from us and everytime she hears the train she runs to the window screaming The choo choo train. We both wave a the train saying bye train bye train.

  • Muito bom

  • I know that train. It was stolen once in Madison Wisconsin and had the cops looking everywhere for it.

  • nice to know there actually IS steam nearby. being a Pennsy fan. and hearing the old 3 chime.. makes things all the more great for me. Awesome vid.

  • /it is kinda weird that they copied an American loco then brought it back here and now we are ohhh-ing and ahhh-ing a chinese built engine

  • Where does the train stop and begin it's return trip to phillipsburg?
