Are you kidding or what? Universities shape minds. They influence voters. This is a Democratic Republic. They control elections and by controlling elections they appoint political leaders. In America the political leader they elect is the most powerful force on earth with 9 thousand nuclear weapons and the greatest military force in the history of the planet.

Well it is a vicious circle. But universities are not all-powerful. They are only one player in the field. Also, change is possible. When things begin to go wrong no one will be able to brainwash people. Look at the former Eastern Bloc. Now there you had complete leftist domination everywhere. And in a few years it fell crushing down. Not to mention that it's the social sciences thata re most leftist. Others are less political and more concerned with things that work. The left will lose.

It won't come crashing down. The professors and their students have been thoroughly convinced that world socialism is the answer and conservatives are evil. They teach it now to every student in college. Those students will become professors and will either do the same thing to their students or be unable to teach American values.

Why have we lost the battle? Sometimes the oppression has to get really bad for people to see through it. I used to be a leftist, now I'm a libertarian. I don't believe their brainwashing will help them, even though I am horrified at the way the leftist discourse has penetrated every field of life and every conversation you may have - espicially in the social sciences. I believe it will come crushing down eventually, but not before we suffer serious damage, unfortunately.
