Use headphones or earphones. His last recording on Riverside and his first recording on the West Coast. Enjoy relaxed and swinging Bill Evans.

  • You spelled CHUCK ISRAELS name incorrectly!

  • @jaymusic143 I apologize to all viewers and the great bassist.

  • Why would you apologize? It's not like you did anything wrong. You made a spelling error. Jesus people. What is wrong with all of you? Also why is there a lady singing for the first 25 seconds? Was performing with Bill that evening?

  • @kramnrublaw Isn't it romantic...no, impolite to misspell a person's name? I feel sorry all the more because I respect the bassist. The song was originally made for a movie, and the lady was the main actress. By inserting the singing, I tried to evade the copyright problem. (I used this method in other videos as well.)

  • @openbaffle3 what is the name o f the movie? thanx man

  • @FinalAeonBoss

The original song Isn't It Romantic was featured in the 1932 film Love Me Tonight, which starred Jeannette MacDonald.

  • everything he recorded was great. from beginning to end. i've never been disappointed with his later recordings.

  • Another brilliant piece of genius from the pens of Rodgers & Hart!

  • his best recordings are on riverside. period.

  • I'm from Brasil and I love BilL Evans! He is so clear,He shows what he want to say.I can recognize his sound! I lik the bass too!

  • El mejor pianista de jazz que he escuchado en mi vida! que grande!!!!!

    THE BEST!!!

  • Whos sing this song on the end of the movie "The Out of Towners?????"

  • I am sure it is on You Tube, still....it was, but the film version of this song opens Love Me Tonight with Maurice Chavalier and Jeannette McDonald, and is one of the cleverest, if not THE cleverest movie songs ever filmed.

    Peter Schleger

  • @openbaffle3 Uh, it would be impolite if you did it on purpose, but i'm guessing you didn't. It was just a spelling error. I can understand that you enjoy the music, but jesus man, get off the mans nutsack.
