What you left out is John McCain is the the most disliked Republican by Republicans. How he got the nomination I will never know. He's the last guy to deserve it for two timing his own party. It's no suprise to me he didnt deserve to be in the office. That said at least he didnt get caught screwing an intern while in office or knock up a skank while running for it with a wife suffering from cancer. They all suck.

Anyway, my final point...and then I'm so done with debating you...is that this video did a poor job of proving John McCain is a horrible, lying, awful person. You have made a valid point that he broke his promise to his first wife...but again...it has nothing to do with what he has contributed and sacraficed for this country. I think he is an American HERO. You obviously have a different opinion.

The video also tries to make John McCain look bad by pointing out that Carol never remarried. How is that his fault?

Next, the video describes how Cindy used her money and status to help John get into congress, etc. BIG DEAL! She was helping her husband! Who cares if they bought a private jet for campaigning?

Lastly, the video discussed Cindy's drug addiction, and the things she did to feed it. This is something that many struggle with and I don't judge her for getting herself help.

It screams "I want attention", but whatever you say.

Let me break the arguments of this video..

First, it claimed that John and Carol's marriage fell apart because John didn't like the way Carol looked. Ever thought that maybe, just maybe, they fell out of love? It happens to more than 50% of marriages these days.

Next, the video describes Cindy's story to Jay Leno about their age difference and how John "chased her"...Big deal. Sounds like a typical "how I met your mother" story.

It doesn't scream that! It screams that I am confident about myself and don't need the opinions of others. What obstacle did they have to overcome? Telling Carol and the kids? How huge!

You're missing the point! I didn't say that adultery was impressive. I said that it was impressive that the McCains were able to overcome the same obstacles that everyday people face. No doubt, he made a mistake. But that doesn't mean we should not be grateful for everything he's done for our country.

Also, there's nothing wrong with being sexy...there's something wrong with making it your screen name. It screams, "I want attention! I need someone to compliment me!"

She waited and prayed for him to come home and when he did he starts whoring himself around with several women. Cindy just happened to be the whore that he married! 2 whores deserve eachother.

The bottom line is that politicians (Edwards included) struggle with the same things average Americans do: adultery, drug addiction, etc. The fact that McCains were able to overcome that makes them even more impressive!

The point of the video is how everyone was slamming John Edwards for his affair but gave John McCain a pass. No adultery is acceptable.
